About Growth Groups
We’d also like to invite you to discover Growth Groups. Growth Groups are similar to Life Groups, but only meet for a short period of time. This is a great way to meet some new people at FCCS without a long-term commitment. Typically, a Growth Group would meet once a week for six to ten weeks to go through a specific study or book of the Bible. It might be a study on parenting or marriage or some other topic. After the study is complete, the Growth Group disbands. A leader may want to repeat the study periodically and members of the group may even want to repeat the study. This way, a leader of a particular study has an opportunity to become a real subject-matter expert, and group members will benefit from the wisdom that comes from their diligent study.
