Our goal in the Men’s Ministry at FCCS is to:

Introduce people to the Love of Christ  *  Instruct people in the teachings of Christ  *  Involve people in the ministry of Christ

Our men’s group seeks to develop Godly men, husbands, fathers, grandfathers, and church leaders who take seriously their responsibility to extend the Kingdom of God to the world. We believe that every move of God starts with the men of God and our desire is to see men ignite and realize the purpose for which God created them, and that it manifests in healthier marriages, joy-filled homes and children who grow in their faith by example. We challenge, equip and empower men through discipleship, worship, and lots of fun.

Men’s Ministry at FCCS meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. In addition, we participate in frequent service projects and fun events such as bowling, fishing, shooting and more.

Working with the next generation

We believe that as God’s men we should be involved with our youth to provide a good example of Godly men serving them and others.  The best way for this to happen is to spend quality time with them.

Sweating for God

Through painting houses, putting up fences, taking down trees, and anything else we can get our hands on, we develop meaningful relationships with each other. Through action we develop a sense of stewardship for God’s kingdom. Men that sweat together begin to trust each other.

 

Without men, a church can stand stagnant, and lack leadership and commitment.  Men are one of the most integral parts of a church.  The men’s ministry can be the life blood of a church with direction, focus, and purpose.  Men, you can find your purpose in the church through Men’s ministries.  You will learn how to support and encourage your friends and family, and learn to lead and fulfill the role God has created for you.

One thing is for sure – God will use the heart and life of anyone who chooses to make himself available to Him.
